Treatment of acne problems used to consist of repeated antibiotic and antiseptic treatments or other aggressive procedures. The disadvantage of this approach is that if the problem returned, the treatment had to be repeated, they could be painful, causing side effects and unnecessary stress for the patient.
Treatment with a diode laser offers a great alternative. Similar to hair removal, infrared laser radiation penetrates the skin deep enough to reach the sebaceous glands. Porphyrin-forming bacteria and fungi, which are the causes of acne, are thus destroyed during the procedure.

• Preparations containing retinol or retinoid acid must be avoided 7 days before the treatment
• Do not sunbathe or use tanning beds 7 days before the treatment
