Lips augmentation

During the treatment, a special filler based on hyaluronic acid is introduced in the lip area in order to increase the volume. Hyaluronic acid – the main component of fillers – is the skin's natural intercellular environment, which decreases with age. By replacing this, the lips will be full and hydrated again. At A.med clinic, we use fillers from Juvederm, which is the most reliable material for dermal fillers.

This procedure will help you successfully solve the following problems:

  • too thin lips
  • vague lip contour
  • mimic wrinkles at the corners of the mouth;
  • asymmetry, lip defects (for example, due to injury);

The filling material required for filling is injected with a thin sterile needle, at specific points of the lips using special technology. Anesthesia is performed with an anesthetic cream, so the procedure is almost painless. The treatment takes about 30-40 minutes.

Before treatment:

  • do not take aspirin, acetylsalicylic acid-containing or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 3 days before the procedure;
  • do not take vitamin E, C, fish oil or Omega-3 containing products;
  • do not consume preparations containing ginger, St. John's wort, garlic and gingko-biloba.

After the injection of fillers, the skin becomes smooth, elastic, and wrinkles disappear.

The result of lip filling will be noticeable immediately and will last for about a year - it all depends on the individual characteristics of the body and the ability to process the active ingredient.

After lips augmentation:

  • avoid strong facial expressions, alcohol consumption, make-up, and exercise in the 12 hours following the treatment;
  • Sauna, solarium and pool use, as well as strong sunlight, must be avoided for 2 weeks
