Laser facial rejuvenation is a treatment suitable for fading serious skin defects and minor wrinkles. Fractional CO2 laser is the most effective and modern laser skin rejuvenation device of our time, thanks to which the result is quickly visible and can last up to 1.5-2 years.

The difference between deep rejuvenation and peeling is that the latter provides superficial exfoliation and skin renewal. At the same time, during the former treatment, the laser beam also targets the deeper layers of the skin.

Who is laser facial rejuvenation recommended for?

Laser facial rejuvenation is mainly recommended for those who have serious skin problems, but it is also a perfect solution for those who just want to tighten their skin.

Problems on the face can be caused by genetic causes, acne left over from youth, acne scars, or aging of the skin.

Treating excessive melanin production of the skin with laser is also common, as this is a great solution to preventing those pigment spots.

Wrinkles are smoothed out thanks to laser peeling.

The method is also suitable for removing overly prominent, protruding veins on the face.

It can also help if the skin is too prone to oiliness. This problem can affect both women and men. The greasiness and permanent shiny surface are caused by the large pores of the skin, which the treatment can shrink.

After the procedure, the change is immediately noticeable on the skin, it becomes tighter and fuller. The treatment not only restores the elasticity of the skin but also softens its structure.

The process of laser facial rejuvenation

Before any facial rejuvenation procedure, a personal consultation is required, where the specialist assesses the condition of the skin, and whether there are scars or pigment spots that need to be removed.

Laser treatment requires skin preparation. This can be a skincare routine containing retinol (with regular retinol use), which has been going on for at least a month. Or it can be a treatment, thus saving a lot of time. This treatment can be a PRP treatment or a deep rejuvenation with hyaluronic acid in the area to be treated with a CO2 laser.

We recommend laser treatments to be performed only in the winter period, from October to April.

Contraindications:

  • pregnancy, breastfeeding
  • tendency for keloid scaring
  • active skin infections: herpes, inflammatory conditions
  • epilepsy
  • diabetes mellitus, connective tissue and autoimmune diseases
  • cancer diseases, immunosuppressive treatment
  • taking a drug containing isotretinoin
  • taking other antibiotics, anticoagulants

A topical anesthetic cream is applied to the area before the treatment.

During the procedure, the laser covers the skin like a net, forming tubules, which means it causes minimal tissue damage.

The purpose of this is none other than to make the skin renew itself, according to experience, the method works excellently. As a result of the resulting injuries, regeneration and healing processes start in the skin, so wrinkles and acne scars disappear, and the skin's tightness and elasticity increase.

The skin is renewed as a result of deep laser exfoliation. Collagen is produced, the results of which are really visible after about one or two months. Nevertheless, it is a fact that the expected effects are already visible after two weeks of treatment.

The procedure takes about an hour in total.

Things to do after CO2 laser facial rejuvenation

After the treatment every patient’s reaction is different. Although the intervention does not involve a long recovery time, it is still worth paying attention to some things after the CO2 laser treatment. Redness and swelling of the treated area can be expected in the first 1-2 days. On the 4th-5th day, the skin begins to peel. After 7-10 days, there won't be any negative traces of having undergone aesthetic treatment.

During this period, it is worth helping the recovery with some kind of soothing preparation. This can be Bepanthen cream, or one of the soothing, hydrating products that can be purchased at our clinic.

If the condition of the skin warrants it, the treatment can be repeated on the advice of the specialist for an even more perfect result.
