Contrary to popular belief, skin peeling does not mean that the procedure has any harmful effects.

During the treatment, the old skin cells are artificially removed to make room for new ones, so soon the young and fresh cells will help to smooth out wrinkles and tighten the skin. We recommend that almost everyone over the age of 30 regularly take part in an exfoliating treatment. If we start using this method at this age, the skin will retain its pleasant freshness for a long time and will regenerate more intensively.

Peeling is mostly performed on open areas: on the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands, but if necessary, it can also be used on any other part of the body.

According to the depth of exposure, peelings can be:

-Superficial: in the spinous and granular layers of the epidermis;

Superficial peeling can be used during procedures for deep cleaning and hydration of the skin. It can be done once every one or two weeks, but the shorter the time interval between the procedures, the faster the desired result can be achieved.

-Medium: passes through the entire epithelium and reaches the papillary dermis;

Medium-depth peeling is used to correct post-acne skin changes and age-related skin changes, such as deep wrinkles, especially around the eyes, around the mouth, next to the nose. It is also excellent against excess skin folds due to the loss of skin elasticity, keratosis due to elder age, and stretch marks. It can also be used to prepare the skin for plastic surgery. If necessary, after the skin has completely recovered, the procedure can be repeated, usually after 3-4 months.

Deep: reaches the reticular dermis.

Deep peeling is an aggressive medical procedure, which is why it is mostly performed under sedation or anesthesia. This procedure achieves significant skin rejuvenation, removes deep wrinkles and age spots, makes the face more toned, and provides an intense lifting effect. Enzymes are mainly used for deep peeling, but unfortunately the risk of complications is quite high.

Peelings can be further grouped according to their effect on the skin:

Mechanical peeling – manually, with a scrub or special equipment.

Chemical peeling – increases the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid in the skin, which has a positive effect on the appearance of the face. The skin color is noticeably evened out, it becomes more toned, the traces of fine facial wrinkles, scars, and acne disappear.

Physical peeling - makes the cells work more actively, increases blood circulation in the capillaries, increases the production of collagen.

For those who do not like discomfort, ultrasonic peelings could be a solution.

The procedure is simple and completely painless. Ultrasonic exfoliation does not harm the skin, but at the same time the upper layer of the epithelium is renewed, the sebaceous glands normalize, the face becomes more toned, fine wrinkles disappear, the skin becomes smooth and healthy.

Another great way to rejuvenate the skin is laser peeling. As a result of the laser beam, the upper layer of the skin disappears, regeneration processes are intensified, resulting in smooth, velvety skin.

Our specialists select the type of peeling individually for each patient, according to skin type and problem, in order to ensure that each patient receives the most suitable, personalized treatment.
